Recovery/PACU Nurse (RN or EN) | Hobart TAS | Full Time or Part Time
The team at Carejobz Perioperative Specialists are recruiting for a day surgery in Hobart. This role suits an experienced Recovery/PACU Registered or Enrolled Nurse who wants a Monday to Friday roster.

Employment type: Permanent full-time or part-time
Remuneration: From $36.03 per hour (Enrolled Nurse) to $54.52 per hour (Registered Nurse Level 1) + super under the Enterprise Agreement, depending on classification level
The Role
This is a full-time or part-time position for an experienced Recovery/PACU Registered or Enrolled Nurse. The roster is Monday to Friday and flexible, with no nights, no on-call and no public holidays. Experience in the hospital's specialties and in a fast-paced day or short stay setting will be well regarded.
In this role, you will:
Deliver evidence-based care, monitoring patient wellbeing and providing safe, high-quality treatment at each stage of the hospital stay.
Prepare the facility, equipment and clinical environment for safe, efficient surgery.
Maintain clear team communication, assess patient progress and respond promptly to changes or complications.
Provide clear education, guidance and reassurance so patients feel confident managing their recovery after discharge.
Supervise and support colleagues on shift, fostering confidence, teamwork and safe practice.
Promote continuous improvement, safety and excellence across the hospital.
What You Will Bring
Solid experience in Recovery/PACU nursing within a surgical hospital setting.
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse.
The ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with patients, doctors, colleagues and other stakeholders.
Strong time management, organisational, leadership and communication skills.
