Robotic Clinical Team Lead | Auckland NZ | Full Time

The team at Carejobz Perioperative Specialists are recruiting for a hospital in Auckland. We are looking for a Robotic Clinical Team Lead for the Operating Theatres, covering General, Gynaecology, Plastics and Urology across open, laparoscopic and robotic procedures. This is a full time, permanent role, replacing a team member who has been promoted internally.
The Role
Reporting to the Charge Nurse Manager, you will support the day to day operational management of the Operating Theatre and Robotic team.
In this role, you will:
Support resourcing, workload allocation and time management for the team
Lead robotic surgery across all disciplines and help progress the robotic programme
Run team huddles at the start of each robotic list
Ensure equipment is available and fit for purpose
Work with Sterile Store and CSSD on correct handling and cleaning of robotic instruments
Support education and clinical training for the team
Provide clinical supervision oversight for Enrolled Nurses, agency nurses and unregistered workers
Act up into the Charge Nurse Manager role as required
What You Will Bring
To be considered, you must have:
Current New Zealand Nursing Council Annual Practising Certificate
Extensive experience in open, laparoscopic and robotic surgery
Experience leading and managing small teams
Strong stakeholder relationship skills
Desirable, not essential:
Postgraduate qualification in Nursing or Management
Registered Nurse First Surgical Assistant (RNFSA)
