The team at Carejobz Perioperative Specialists are recruiting for a hospital in Brisbane. We are looking for an experienced Scrub Scout Nurse to join a busy, multi-specialty theatre complex, working across Orthopaedic, Urology, ENT and General Surgery lists. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for a nurse with at least 3 years' scrub/scout experience.
The role at a glance
Remuneration: $42.50 to $54.62/hr + super + salary packaging
In this role, you will:
Scrub and scout across Orthopaedic, Urology, ENT and General Surgery lists
Work within a multidisciplinary theatre team supporting surgical, cardiac and robotic-assisted procedures
Maintain sterile technique, instrumentation and case preparation across a varied specialty caseload
Participate in the standard theatre roster, with flexibility required across all shifts including weekends
What You Will Bring
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Scrub Scout/Perioperative Registered Nurse (not open to new graduates)
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Demonstrated scrub and scout competency in at least one of Orthopaedics, Urology, ENT or General Surgery
Willingness and ability to work the full theatre roster, including weekends and all shifts
Current National Police Check, or ability to obtain and maintain one
Full Australian working rights required
